Terms and Conditions
Please note that due to the size of the play area, we do have to be strict on exit times.
We are unable to delay the start of your session. However if you do arrive late you will still
be able to come in for the remainder of the time.
All sessions are non refundable, however we may be able to transfer your session to another date.
Rules of Play
Where the little ones play is an unsupervised play area. Whilst we have made every attempt to make the play area as safe as possible, due to the nature of the play accidents can occasionally happen. We can therefore not accept responsibility for injuries incurred whilst playing or damage to clothing.
The children who get the most benefit out of Where The Little Ones Play area aged 5 (up until 6th birthday) and under to walking age, although anyone can come and play. See bookings for prices.
• Each play session lasts up to 90 minutes. Bookings must be made prior to attending.
• Children must be supervised at all times by an adult. It is not the responsibility of the staff.
• As the responsible adult, it will be up to you to assess the capabilities of your child to ensure they use the appropriate play areas and equipment safely and responsibly. Some of the equipment is designed for ages 3 and over so those under will need closer supervision.
• Food and drink are not permitted in the play area. These must remain in the cafe area.
• Only food purchased from our cafe is to be consumed on site. There are exceptions for dietary requirements but please contact us before your visit if this is the case.
• Smoking (including vapes) are not permitted inside the building.
• Alcohol is not permitted on site.
• Any children who are unwell must not visit Where The Little Ones Play for at least 48 hours after their systems have stopped.
• Be respectful of others - share, listen, use kind words.
• Fighting, bullying or any behaviour that is deemed destructive or inappropriate by staff will not be tolerated.
• If any member of the public has a concern then it should be reported to a member of staff.
• If shoes are removed we kindly ask that socks are still worn. There is no expectation to remove shoes whilst playing.
• Cars are parked at owners own risk and Where The Little Ones Play accepts no liability for damage or accidents.
• Please report any damage to any of the play equipment.If this is found to be intentional damage then you maybe asked to pay for the replacement.
• Where The Little Ones Play reserves the right to refuse admission or ask customers to leave at any time. Abusive language or behaviour towards staff or other customers will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.
Reporting of Accidents
Any accidents that occur whilst at Where The Little Ones Play must be reported to a member of staff and recorded in the accident book.
If your child becomes unwell whilst on site or has a toileting accident this also needs to be reported so it can be cleaned up immediately.
At least one member of staff will be pediatric first aid trained.
The first aid kit will be stored in the kitchen and will only be used with the supervision of a member of staff.
Photos
We fully expect that you will want to take photos and videos of your child(ren) enjoying themselves and the creations they make. We ask that if you do wish to share these on social media that it is only of your child(ren). If you have any other children in the image we advise that you seek consent from the responsible adult before sharing online. Not everyone wishes to have their children shared on social media.
From time to time staff will take photos and videos but consent will be sought prior to this. These photos will be shared on public domains only if consent is given by the responsible adult. This will be done at the time of booking.
Safeguarding
Every member of staff will have a DBS check completed upon recruitment. They will also complete basic safeguarding training.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, therefore we ask if you see something that concerns you with another customer we ask that you speak to a member of staff and if you feel you need to take it further then this website gives you further information.
